Let’s start from the left, will need salad fork and then two dinner forks for fish and meat courses. The plate will be on the center, of course. To the right, you will need to put a fork with a blade near the plate and then another knife and lastly the spoon for soup. All of these are to be used for salad, fish and meat and soup course.
2. Next, you should learn the silverware that will be used if you plan to serve multiple courses. So, what are these silverwares? You will need silverware for the soup, salad, fish, and meat and also for the dessert. Well. You do not need to buy new silverware, instead try to be creative and arrange them in manner that will seem sensible for the courses you wish to serve. Buying new silverware would definitely cost you more. The best thing to do is to exert more effort on foods you are going to serve.
3. One more thing to remember is if you will plan to serve bread, you can put it on a different plate and it will be place above the fork o the left of the plate.
4. The water and wine glasses are place to the right of the plate and above the knives and spoon. Remember to place the water glass near the plate. The wine glass will be place next to the water glass.
5. You should also learn to fold the napkin. It will be place in the water glass or on the plate if you want.
6. The utensils for the dessert will go along with the dessert. So, there is no need to put another dessert utensil on the table for the dessert course.
